Last night I wen...Thanks 5th for this history post. Last night I went down history lane with dear ol' Pops. He was spouting off about how Republican Pres. Kennedy was. You know, lower taxes and all. This was followed by a laundry list of corrupt California leaders (most notably, Willie Brown). It baffles me that some political leaders are exempt from scandal. Regan might be the best example of this. <BR/><BR/>Further, yesterday, I finally tossed in the towel on GW. I used to worship the quicksand he walked on. But, with his refusal to do what the people want turns my stomach. As a lame duck president, he offers no bargaining to the Dems. Its his way or the highway. This isnt democracy, or at the very least the democracy I am proud of.
